This rear extension in Broadstone has added valuable space to the house while keeping the brickwork in keeping with the original building. A rooflight set into the sloping roof brings extra daylight into the new area, and a run of windows along the side keeps the room bright throughout the day.
A door at the rear gives easy access out to the garden, with a further window alongside it making the most of the natural light. The pitched roof has been tiled to match the existing house, so the whole extension sits comfortably against the original structure.
It is a neat, well proportioned addition that gives the homeowners useful extra room, finished carefully to blend in with the rest of the property.
