ICF construction in Dorset and the south of England
Insulated concrete formwork (ICF) is a modern way to build. Hollow insulated blocks are stacked to form the walls, then filled with concrete. You get a strong, well-insulated structure, and it goes up much faster than traditional masonry.
We build with Nudura ICF, one of the leading insulated concrete form systems in the UK, and it’s NHBC Accepts accredited. We’re based in Dorset and build right across the south of England. We take on everything from garages and garden studios to extensions, new homes, apartments and commercial buildings.
Why choose ICF?
- Faster build: walls go up quickly, so the next trades can start sooner
- Lower labour costs: quicker build times mean fewer days on site
- Energy efficient: insulation on both sides of the concrete keeps heat in, which helps cut heating bills
- Strong and fire resistant: a solid concrete core inside insulated formwork
- Suits homes and businesses: works for residential and commercial projects
How it works

- Foundations are laid as normal
- The ICF blocks are stacked and braced to form the walls, openings and corners
- Concrete is poured into the blocks in stages
- Once it has cured, the walls are ready for render, cladding or brick slips inside and out
